
The HICF Chowder Cook-Off is always a popular event at Day at the Docks. Various island restaurants will gather and compete for the title of the 2024 HICF Best Chowder. The tasting fee is $10. Tasters will sample the entries and vote for their favorite. The proceeds from every tasting ticket will benefit HICF grant recipients.
The event will be held during the Day at the Docks event on Saturday, September 14th, across the street from Nedo’s True Value, 57866 NC Highway 12 in Hatteras Village, from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.
