Drink Pink
Join us during the whole month of October for our Drink Pink fundraiser in which Hatteras Island restaurants, coffee shops and even grocery stores come up with a pink colored drink in an effort to promote Breast Cancer Awareness month! Proceeds or a portion of the proceeds are then donated to the Hatteras Island Cancer Foundation. By supporting local businesses you are also helping a neighbor battling cancer. The HICF 5K is going VIRTUAL. In keeping pace with the times, this year’s HICF 5K is being run virtually from our neighborhood to yours. Normally held on the Saturday of Columbus Day weekend, this year you have the option of running the 5K at any time between 8:00 a.m. Friday, October 8th and 8:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 12th.
