HICF Chowder Cookoff raises over $2,700
The HICF Chowder Cookoff was a huge success! This year, we had seven entries: The Wreck and Tiki Bar, Dinky’s Waterfront Restaurant, Cafe Pamlico, Tavern on 12, Kat’s Dell, Froggy Dog Restaurant, and Breakwater Restaurant. Over $2,700 was raised! Approximately 260 tasters voted on their favorites and we are pleased to announce the 2024 HICF Chowder Cookoff winners:
1st Place Kat’s Deli- Hatteras
2nd Place Breakwater Restaurant
3rd Place Dinky’s Waterfront Restaurant
